Choose Your Own Path: Digital Log 6 Reflections

In Kemp's Instructional Design model, "determine the specific goals, and also identify potential instructional issues" is the first step of the entire process. Through creating the task, I felt like identify the specific goals is really important not only help the designer or teacher to achieve all of the goals easily but also it is to anticipate unpredictable issues that might be happening during the process.


Based on my observations, I found that Kemp's is different from other design models. It is because Kemps is focused on learners.  As we may see, the three first step of Kemp's is categories of analyzing (instruction issues, learner characteristic, task analysis, instructional objective), following with design (content sequence, learning strategies, message design, ), development (instructional delivery), and evaluation (instructional delivery and evaluation instruments.)
